Well, it's that time of year again. Time for closing weekend at Cedar Point. I work 2-midnight tonight, so I won't be making it down tonight. The weather looks like crap anyway, which is what 2009 has been perfect for. The tornado outbreak the GFS painted a few days ago? It's gone.

I'm going to save my Cedar Point trip for Sunday only this year. I am looking forward to it. It'll be another closing day to say goodbye to my summer getaway.

The following weekend, November 7th is my trip to Oklahoma for the National Weather Festival in Norman, OK. I managed to secure the weekend off from work, and will be driving down Friday and coming back Tuesday. I will also be picking up my cat from Steve Miller OK, Caruso. Caruso is an oci-cat that is 7 years old. I'm looking forward to the company of a cat in my apartment.

I also wanted to send out props to Kris Hair for his coverage in Shreveport last night. He rocked the coverage up on ChaserTV. He did a total of 6 hits (Phoners + Live Video) to The Weather Channel last night. Way to go Kris! It seems like the independent chasers have scored big this year in regards to the media.

I have also been pretty busy at work lately. We are going to see the Red Wings play the Florida Panthers on November 20th at the Joe. As usual, I am in charge of planning for the event, and got the tickets ordered and the bus ordered. It should be a good trip!
