Home Shack

My home 'shack' mostly consists of a computer desk which primarily has served as my workstation in the past. I have just added Radios and scanners as I see fit. The home 'shack' includes the following radio equipment:

Mobile

My mobile radio is a simple dual band Kenwood with APRS setup.

  • Kenwood TM-D710A 2meter/440 Dual Band Mobile radio
  • Byonics GPS2 with Kenwood powerpole kit
  • Diamond NR770HNMO 2 meter/440mhz NMO mount Antenna - 1/2 wave on 2 meters providing 3.0 dB gain and a 2 5/8 wave on 440 providing 5.5 dB gain
