So on Saturday (10/18) it was a nice day out, and I decided to go get 250 rounds from Wal Mart ($65ish) and head out to the range. I had some ammunition leftover for my .380 from last time I went out shooting. I invited my dad along and we shot both my .40 and my .380, shooting about 220 rounds in total. The weather was fantastic on Saturday for a nice day out at the range.
I did pretty good at hitting my target where I wanted to. Better than I did last time I was out. I am really starting to develop a good shot with my new Springfield XD .40 I purchased about 6-8 weeks ago. The gun has been super reliable and shoots so nice, and had a pretty good pricetag for personal protection.
After the range, I watched the MSU and then Michigan games. MSU got spanked by Ohio State big time. Michigan made the first half of their game interesting against Penn State. Penn State pretty much killed them the second half, which is pretty much what I expected. They ended up scoring the 23 point line as well.
I spent most of Sunday watching football and taking a nap and generally being lazy. Today I worked on my truck for a bit, then got a bunch of errands done and attended an ARPSC meeting. All in all a decent weekend. I am not really looking forward to work tomorrow!

I think it's so awesome that
I think it's so awesome that you and your dad share a certain kind of closeness, especially in hobbies.
It's not often anymore you see a father and son share so much time together. I admire that. You're quite lucky in that area.
