A supercell which had previously dropped an EF-3 tornado on the city of Racine, WI tracked across the cold waters of Lake Michigan and came on shore near Muskegon, MI prompting Tornado Warnings for Muskegon and Newaygo counties. The cell continued to show shear as it tracked northeast into Montcalm, Gratiot and Isabella counties. Tornado Warnings were issued for the cell as it tracked across central Lower Michigan.
