I went with JR Hehnly and his wife Kathy to York, NE to see the eclipse. Met up with my mom and dad and had dinner on Sunday night. We woke up early on the 21st in York and realized we’d need to go west to find clear skies. Fate found us on a rural road just outside of Arnold, NE and had great skies with an amazing experience! I got to share the experience with my parents and JR and his wife.
For those that have not experienced a total eclipse, it is without a doubt a must do bucket list item. Even if you had a 99%, it just can not compare to totality. I’m planning to be southeast of Oklahoma City in Southeast Oklahoma for the 2024 eclipse.
