Chase Recap:

I started off the chase heading north to dying storms late because of work. Met Mike Scantlin in Ponca City for some BBQ before we both headed east to get on the storm which had gone from severe warned, to nor warned at all, and was back severe warned again. A good push in the updraft seemed to revive it.

I headed out of Ponca City and took highway 11 when I should have taken US60 instead. Managed to get in front of the storm near Pawhuska while it was tornado warned. The storm tried to wrap up but was never able to complete it before cold pools came rushing out.

The storm continued to be a good hailer through Skiatook and into Tulsa metro areas such as Owasso. It took more of a southeast turn in the later stages.

I gave up at US169 and headed back to Oklahoma City.
