Chase Recap:

Woke up in Midland and targeted the dryline. Was hoping for some robust supercellular development, but became discouraged as the day went on and the dryline became less convergent. Oh yeah, I also woke up feeling like food poisoned crap, so I wanted to die most of the day.

We ended up in Lubbock and then north in Hale County at the rest stop on I27. I laid and took a nap as Jari watched storm after storm go up and become fuzzy and die. Especially north of us towards Amarillo.

At some point it came quite obvious the day was dead, so we headed north to see what Bill and Tom were up to, and then to head back to Oklahoma. Unfortunately we got to Tulia and found out wedges were ongoing in Central Oklahoma. Urrrgghhh. What a bust of a day for us.
