Hailer in Wichita

I drove up to Wichita to check out some hailers coming through the city before they kind of died out near Derby.

Heading to Kansas

Nadocast highlighted a heightened chance of tornadoes in South Central Kansas and I needed to put some money on the OU/Michigan game, so I decided to hit the road for Kansas. Storms, gambling and some Spangles sounds like an alright evening.

We left Norman after I finished with work and headed up to Kansas, getting to the Kansas Star Casino a little after 7. There was a supercell moving southward towards the City of Wichita so we’d go meet it.

After departing the Kansas Star, we headed north on 35 to South Wichita where I captured these images.

We’d drive around Derby and Rose Hill as these storms collapsed at dark.
